Exim has established Short-Term and Medium-Term Credit Standards to qualify a buyer abroad. Although specific to Exim, these standards provide an excellent starting point to satisfy documentation requirements of private sector underwriters as well as commercial banks. Depending upon the complexity, amount, and tenor of the transaction, additional information may be required.
